Normandy & Monet’s Gardens

This is a truly delightful weekend with some of France’s most popular attractions.

The weekend is based in Rouen, the old Roman capital of Upper Normandy on the banks of the River Seine.

Giverney is the pretty village made famous by Monet’s garden and his paintings of water lilies. Stroll the gardens, visit the museum that was his home for 43 years.

We will also visit Bayeaux and its famous tapestry and the scenic port of Honfleur.

Torquay

Monday 16th July for 5 days, £265 per person

Torquay is the jewel of the English Riviera with a waterfront scene that can match anything you may find on the French Riviera; international marina, pavement cafes, gardens and restaurants.

The Bancourt Hotel is a peaceful hotel, recently refurbished with tastefully decorated accommodation, superb indoor swimming pool and live evening entertainment, all within easy walking distance of the beach and town centre.

Excursions include the lovely market town of Totnes, Dartmouth with its ancient narrow streets and the option of a river trip plus Bickfast Abbey and Brixham.

Isle of Wight


Monday 6th August for 5 days, £325 per person

The holiday is based at Shanklin, a town of great character and charm with many small shops, elegant Victorian villas and public gardens.

The Shanklin Hotel offer every modern comfort and a warm welcome to their guests. Located in a premier position overlooking Sandown Bay, it has a superb indoor swimming pool and lift to most floors.

Good food and live entertainment ensure an enjoyable stay.

Excursions include Newport and its weekly market and Godshill, a pretty village with thatched cottages and tearooms.

Blackpool Illuminations


Monday 1st October for 5 days, £240 per person

Blackpool has 7 miles of sandy beach, unrivalled entertainment in iconic venues and of course the world famous illuminations. It’s no wonder that a Which? Holiday survey found Blackpool is the UK’s all time favourite beach resort.
You will be staying at the Parisienne Hotel on Blackpool’s North Promenade. It has a seafront location, lounge bar and restaurant which features an aquarium and panoramic views across the Irish Sea. All rooms are decorated to a good standard and ensuite. There is a lift to upper floors.

The hotel’s entertainments programme includes a variety of live acts from magic to dance and comedy.
Half board includes full English breakfast and a choice of evening meals.

Excursions include Fleetwood Market, a day trip of the Lakes and a coach trip of the Illuminations.
